OOSH Educators Day 2022

OOSH Educators Day is the annual celebration recognising the vital role outside school hours educators play in the lives of children. For the 2022 theme, “OOSH Educators: Rising to Every Challenge,” I created a playful poster using a handcrafted diorama of an OOSH centre. I illustrated the shapes digitally and used a cutting plotter to produce the components, which were assembled into a miniature scene featuring playground equipment, school buildings and sunshades. Layered mountains in the background reference the “rising” theme and the challenges educators overcome. The final piece was photographed and used as the campaign artwork. The tactile, handmade approach reflects the creativity, resourcefulness and outdoor focus of the OOSH environment.
